Online Registration Procedures
All Summer Institute courses are available for non-credit/professional development or academic credit. More info here.
Steps to Register for Institute Courses
1. COMPLETE THE ONLINE APPLICATION
(returning Summer Institute students, and current JHBSPH degree candidates taking classes for academic credit can skip this step) - you will be able to select academic credit or non-credit registration. You will receive an email with instructions on how to log into SIS.
2. REGISTER FOR COURSES IN SIS
After logging into SIS, select your appropriate Public Health student record (SSL- Academic Credit; NC for Non-Credit/Professional Development) from the drill down menu located near the top, next to your name. Under the Registration tab, select Search for Classes. Enter the correct Academic Period: 2023-24 Summer Institute and select Class Department – either Epidemiology or Biostatistics then click on “Search”. Select your courses, and then click on “Register”.

Once you have registered for courses, you will receive an email confirmation of your courses from the Graduate Summer Institute of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. If you do not receive confirmation within 48 hours, please contact us at summerepi@jhsph.edu
Payment
All applications must be accompanied by payment in full. Space permitting, applications are accepted until the start of class. Students are strongly encouraged to register by June 9, 2023 to ensure receiving course confirmation and to avoid cancellations. Payment may be made by credit card, check, training nomination, purchase order, tuition remission forms or other payment documents. The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health accepts American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover.
Eligible full-time JHU faculty, staff, and eligible dependents may use JHU Tuition Support.
JHU SOM graduate students, medical students and post doctoral fellows should contact the JHU SOM Registrar's office for information on tuition support. Please contact Ayesha Khan if you have any questions.
