Training the public health workforce and strengthening our public health infrastructure are key components of our mission at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. We offer a wide array of educational options for public health professionals, including open online trainings, individual courses, certificate programs, and degree programs. We offer online and onsite learning options for people at all levels—from students seeking to build a career in public health to established public health leaders with decades of experience.

Please explore our popular Accelerated Learning Institute programs for condensed programs and courses, offered in summer and winter sessions, that are well-suited to the schedules and interests of working professionals. 

Many Centers and Institutes at the Bloomberg School also offer Professional Trainings in such areas as Emergency Preparedness, Leadership in Tobacco Control, Indigenous Health, and Health Communications.

You can take up to 16 credits of academic coursework without applying for any degree or certificate.
