Meaghan Kennedy is a family physician currently completing a HRSA T32 Primary Care Research Fellowship in the Department of Community and Family Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon, NH. Broadly, her research focuses on the development and implementation of interventions to improve health outcomes for underserved populations with complex health and social needs. In her role as a research fellow, she is working with a team of geriatrics researchers, primary care clinicians, and community-based organizations to conduct a pilot feasibility trial of a community health worker (CHW)-delivered intervention for older adults with functional limitations in rural northern New England. She is also collaborating with the Population Health department at Dartmouth-Hitchcock to implement and evaluate a primary care-based CHW program for patients with unmet social needs across the D-H health system. She completed medical school at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and her residency at NH Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency, and worked on the residency faculty for a year prior to beginning her fellowship. She also holds an M.P.H from Boston University School of Public Health.
