In addition to research, Dr. Magidson has experience delivering, supervising, and training cognitive behavioral therapy interventions for substance use, depression and medication adherence. She received a Bachelors degree from Dartmouth College and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to joining the faculty at Maryland, she completed a T32 postdoctoral fellowship in Global Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital and was an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School.
