Independent Professional Project and Final Essay

MSOEH students complete an Independent Professional Project (IPP) and write an essay summarizing the project. Full-time studies complete their IPP through an internship experience in the summer between the first and second years of the program. With guidance from their academic advisor, students apply for positions at organizations that do work in their area of interest (i.e., petrochemical industry, aerospace, etc.).  They perform the IPP as part of their internship and write up an essay summarizing the project.

Part-time MSOEH students work with their adviser to identify a suitable IPP at their place of employment and write an essay summarizing the project.
