Facilities

All classes will be held at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, located at 615 North Wolfe Street, in East Baltimore.

Lilienfeld Library

The School and University are convenient to bus, light-rail and subway. In addition Baltimore is served by both Amtrak and the Baltimore-Washington International Airport. Students who will be driving to the medical campus may park in the Washington Street parking garage (701 N. Washington Street).

While enrolled in the Summer Institute participants will have access to the Welch Medical Library at the School of Medicine and the Eisenhower Library at the Homewood campus.

Students may also obtain membership during the Summer Institute to the Denton Cooley Athletic Center. Located behind Hampton House, the recreational center houses a multipurpose gymnasium with an indoor track, free and circuit training weight rooms, racquetball and squash courts, three outdoor tennis courts, and an outdoor 25-yard pool.

Bloomberg School of Public Health

There are many eating facilities available to students during the day. The Daily Grind, located on the second floor of the School of Public Health, is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and offers coffee, breakfast, lunch and snacks. Johns Hopkins Hospital, located across the street from the Bloomberg School of Public Health has a number of dining options.  Numerous eateries, such as the Northeast Market at 2101 Monument Street, are within walking distance of the School.
