Sharing our IDARE Action Plan

We are pleased to share the first public-facing school-wide Inclusion, Diversity, Anti-Racism, and Equity (IDARE) Action Plan for the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. The Action Plan identifies strategies for creating an environment where we fuel our creativity and excellence by cultivating a more equitable, inclusive, anti-racist, and socially-just community.

Supporting Change to Help End Gun Violence

If we all commit to these actions and advocate for change by supporting organizations dedicated to public health solutions to gun violence through better firearms laws, improving neighborhood conditions, dismantling structural racism, and investing in community prevention efforts, we can make a difference.

In Memoriam: Sidney Lerner, 1930–2021

A longtime friend of public health and the founder of Meatless Mondays and other campaigns, Sid Lerner will be missed. But his marketing acumen and visionary generosity leaves a lasting imprint on the School.

Fall Dean’s Letter October 2020

The School may be quiet these days because of the pandemic. But online, something exciting is happening. It’s called our Virtual Plus Campus.
