What was your favorite academic experience?
I enjoyed the weekly research seminars, as an opportunity to learn about research by senior members of the department, and to observe the types of questions senior faculty were interested in asking of one another.

The relationship between WIC participation and breastfeeding/
How has your Masters' Degree contributed to your current line of work?
My research is focused on clinical aspects of pediatric health care, relating to health behavior and prevention. My public health background provided me with specific tools to conceptualize and answer research questions and it has allowed me to position my work in the context of broader public health systems, outside of clinical health care, that address the same goals.
