CAHMI - Child and Adolescent Health Measurement Initiative
WHO WE ARE
The Child and Adolescent Health Measurement Initiative (CAHMI) is a national initiative based out of the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Their primary focus is to advance patient-centered child health, as well as health care quality measurement and improvement. CAHMI is home to many projects, such as the Data Resource Center, the Maternal and Child Health Measurement Research Network, Family Engagement Tools (Well-Visit Planner, Promoting Healthy Development Survey, and CARE_PATH for Kids), work and research with ACEs and Flourishing, Recommendations for California Proposition 64 Expenditures, and more.
Mission
The mission of the Child and Adolescent Health Measurement Initiative is to advance patient-centered innovations and improvements in children’s health and health care quality.
Vision
CAHMI envisions a future where children and families are full partners in a health care system tailored to maximize the healthy development and well-being of children across the life course.
