About Us

The Childcare Wellness Policies and Practices Projects (CWPP) uses a continuous quality improvement model to enhance the implementation of wellness practices in childcare centers throughout Maryland. The CWPP administered its first survey to childcare centers in Maryland 2014. The CWPP is preparing to administer their second survey in 2018.
Objectives
- To evaluate the strength, quality, and implementation of wellness practices in childcare centers throughout Maryland
- To evaluate adherence to best practices in nutrition, physical activity, and breast/infant feeding in childcare centers throughout Maryland
