Students

Our students come from diverse backgrounds and are dedicated to improving health equity globally. They work with faculty, staff, and alumni as they develop skills to help improve the well-being of disparately impacted communities worldwide.

Postdoctoral Fellows

Our postdoctoral fellows make an impactful contribution to the advancement of global health by engaging in advanced research projects, working collaboratively with faculty mentors, and connecting with leading experts in international health.

IH Legacy Series

Mathuram Santosham, MD, MPH ’75

A Bloomberg School faculty member since 1984, Mathu Santosham, MD, MPH ’75, has founded centers, led major vaccine trials, and helped get vaccines to millions, especially children, across the globe. As part of a new Department of International Health series about public health legacies, Santosham discusses how he began his career, what he’s most proud of, and what he sees as still left to do in international public health.
