Uganda

In collaboration with Makerere University School of Public Health, JHSPH researchers conducted formative research to generate information on the willingness and acceptability to take mobile phone surveys in Uganda. The team also conducted user-testing and evaluated the feasibility of conducting nation-wide mobile phone surveys and the role of incentives in increasing response rates. Current work involves comparing reliability of different MPS modalities (CATI, IVR, SMS) responses with face-to-face administered questionnaires.
