We help graduates make a powerful impact in public health by connecting them to opportunities beyond the classroom for experiential learning and to public health employers and networks.
Ninety percent of Bloomberg School students are employed (full-time or part-time; or in a fellowship, internship, or residency) after graduation, and the Career Services Office helps make that happen. From prospective students curious about where a degree in public health might take them to employers looking to hire a recent Bloomberg School grad, the Office's specialists are available to offer assistance.
Career Services provides resources and guidance, including:
- Personal career and life-design planning for students and alumni
- Career workshops and events throughout the year
- A comprehensive Career Planner with resume templates
- Exclusive access to sponsored career resources
- An outstanding Public Health Career Fair, held each spring
- A robust database of public health jobs and internships
- Information about public health employers
CAREER PLANNING FOR STUDENTS AND ALUMNI
We offer tools, services, and resources to help students and alumni design and pursue their own path in public health. All students and alumni have access to the Career Services Office staff.
The Public Health Career Fair
Bloomberg School students, prospects, and alumni and all public health job seekers are invited to attend our Public Health Career Fair in March each year. It's the ideal venue to meet employers, learn about opportunities, and network with peers in the field.
Internships and Fellowships
Many organizations offer internships and fellowships for Bloomberg School students and alumni. These opportunities are available at the local, national, and international levels.
