- Students are required to complete the Epidemiology Department’s basic core curriculum in addition to the required coursework for their track. There are course requirements for each track as well as course requirements for each degree program. Each track curriculum is detailed in the JHU e-catalogue by degree program: MHS, ScM, and PhD.
In addition to the courses offered through our degree programs, there are other elective courses led by CTES faculty and a Clinical Trials Certificate Program offered through the Department of Epidemiology:
- Clinical Trials Certificate Program (Onsite or Online)
This certificate program focuses primarily on the design and analysis of randomized clinical trials for evaluation of licensed and non-licensed medical products and other health interventions, the regulatory framework for the conduct and evaluation of data from clinical trials, and ethical principles for the conduct of clinical trials. The program is open to degree seeking and non-degree students.
