Patrick Breysse, PhD ‘85, MHS '80, conducts research focused on the evaluation and control of chemical, biological, and physical factors that impact human health and well-being.

Roni Neff, PhD '06, ScM, researches ways to cut food waste and address climate change through more resilient, equitable, and healthy food systems.

Ruggero Rossi works at the intersection of electrochemistry, microbiology, and material science to achieve a sustainable energy-water infrastructure, and environmentally sustainable production of chemicals.

Sara Lupolt, PhD ’21, MPH, works to improve the art and practice of exposure assessment while tackling a wide variety of environmental health and food system challenges.

Sarah studies the microorganisms and environmental drivers of impairments to inland and coastal water bodies such as oxygen depletion and algal blooms.
