Practice Faculty
Faculty in the Department of Health, Behavior and Society are leaders in public health practice within and beyond the Bloomberg School. Our faculty recognize that practice is a main function of public health. We illustrate our commitment to practice through our courses, research, service, and other opportunities.
Our faculty engage in practice in Baltimore, throughout Maryland and the U.S., and in many international settings. They advocate and mobilize communities, work with community organizations and government agencies to implement interventions, and serve on community advisory boards and task forces that guide programming and public policy.
