Practice Courses
HBS offers many opportunities to engage in practice through coursework that connects students to outside organizations and agencies.
For students in the MPH program, some courses, such as the Baltimore Community Practicum and the PHASE Internship, provide a fully-developed practice experience and fulfill the entire MPH practicum requirement for all students who complete the course. In other cases, the instructor may be able to connect only some of the students in the course with practice experience, or may provide a more limited practice experience that only partially satisfies the practicum requirement. Students are expected to simultaneously complete the didactic course and the practice component.
Download a list of current courses and their practice content here. Please note that not all of these courses contain an approved practicum component.
