Leadership and Education in Academic Research and Networking for Enhancing Retention and Success (LEARNERS)
Welcome to the Leadership and Education in Academic Research and Networking for Enhancing Retention and Success (LEARNERS) program page. The LEARNERS program is an initiative within the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health under the aegis of the Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
With initial funding from the PhD Professional Development Innovation Initiative of the Johns Hopkins University Provost Office, this program fosters community and belonging among all PhD students and postdoctoral fellows across all Bloomberg School academic departments and research centers through facilitating networking and enhancing professional development. The Program also aims to improve retention and success of limited income and first generation PhD students and postdoctoral fellows both at the Bloomberg School and in the public health workforce.
