After the U.S. Election: What’s Next for Public Health?

On Thursday, December 5, from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m., Bloomberg School faculty will come together to discuss what's next for public health given the upcoming U.S. presidential administration change. 

Welcome:  

• Ellen MacKenzie, PhD, ScM, is the dean of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bloomberg Distinguished Professor jointly appointed in Health Policy and Management and Biostatistics at the Bloomberg School, as well as in the School of Medicine. She is a renowned researcher on improving trauma care systems and policy. 

Participants:   

• Keshia Pollack Porter, PhD, MPH, is the chair of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and director of the Institute for Health and Social Policy. 

• Shelley Hearne, DrPH, is a professor in Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and director of the Lerner Center for Public Health Advocacy.   

• Shannon Frattaroli, PhD, MPH, is a professor in Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and director of the Center for Injury Research and Policy.    

• Joe Amon, PhD, is a professor in Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and director of the Center for Public Health and Human Rights.
