Are you looking to drive real change by successfully integrating new interventions into health systems? Are you overwhelmed by the vast array of tools and frameworks in implementation science? This course is designed for you. Through real-world examples, you will gain hands-on experience applying IS frameworks to health system challenges, focusing on the practical translation of evidence-based interventions into policy and practice—particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Join us to build the skills and confidence needed to make a tangible impact in health systems worldwide.
Offers an in-depth exploration of key implementation science (IS) frameworks and their application across health system building blocks to boost evidence-based intervention uptake. Uses real-world case studies from low- and middle-income countries, demonstrating IS frameworks in action to address health system challenges. Covers essential tools for engaging stakeholders, assessing current systems, and identifying pathways for change.
Learning Objectives
Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
- Select and apply key IS frameworks across various health system building blocks to support the uptake of evidence-based interventions in diverse settings.
- Critically analyze case studies from low- and middle-income countries, identifying successful applications of IS frameworks to inform intervention strategy design, evaluation and scale-up within health systems.
- Apply IS tools to map and engage stakeholders, assess existing health systems, to identify actionable implementation strategies to strengthen intervention implementation.
