Description
Uses a problem-solving paradigm to introduce the principles and practice of injury prevention. Employs class lectures in behavioral, biomechanical, environmental, epidemiological, legislative, policy and community partnership approaches to injury prevention to develop a strategy for addressing a specific injury problem. Develops skills via group practical application sessions and presentations.
Learning Objectives
Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
  1. Use a problem solving paradigm to address behavioral, biomechanical, environmental, epidemiological, legislative, policy and community partnership approaches to injury prevention
