Responding to Gun Violence with Effective and Fair Solutions

Johns Hopkins University is hosting a live, virtual briefing on responses to the crisis of gun violence. The briefing is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 2, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. EDT.

The upcoming briefing features a panel of Johns Hopkins experts. Topics to be discussed include: the challenge gun violence poses for American democracy; which gun laws are effective; Extreme Risk Protection Orders, or ERPOs, and how they can help to prevent gun violence; research on public opinion about solutions to gun violence; and measures to promote student safety and health in a time of rising gun violence.

No pre-registration is required. Viewers will be able to submit questions to the panel during the briefing.
