Tingzhong Yang, MD, Prof and Director, Center for Tobacco Control Research, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, China. Dr. Yang is a member, the expert group of National Association on Tobacco Control, and review committee for science and technology awards of National Education Ministry and Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, and an external faculty affiliate of Injury Control Research, West Virginal University, U.S. He also was an advisor for World Health Organization in delivering policy and program on tobacco control to health professions students. His primary academic focus is health, behavior and society, and research interests are in tobacco control.
Xiaozhao Yousef Yang is an Associate Professor at Sun Yat-sen University in China. He is a Purdue graduate and a former Assistant Professor at Murray State University. He investigates the contextual origins of at-risk health behaviors, some focus on tobacco control. A recent projects, decomposing the impacts of social mobility and assimilation on drinking and smoking; whether substance use affects long-term unemployment hazards in a 20-years long panel dataset. His research has been awarded and recognized by organizations including the American Sociological Association, Society for the Study of Social Problems, USCIS, the Government of Zhejiang Province, etc.
