Description
Work-related experiences can be driving factors for worker mental health and well-being. It is critical to help employers and employees understand how to create safer and healthier work environments and experiences to promote worker mental health.
Introduces theories, methods, and topics related to workplace mental health, an interdisciplinary field that focuses on worker mental health and well-being. Presents how different work-related experiences are potential risk or protective factors for worker mental health and well-being. Discusses different strategies that policymakers, employers, leaders, and employees can take to promote worker mental health and well-being.
Learning Objectives
Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
  1. Identify theories, methods, and key topics related to workplace mental health
  2. Demonstrate knowledge in how different work-related experiences are potential risk or protective factors for worker mental health
  3. Describe different strategies that policymakers, employers, leaders, and employees can take to promote worker
