Want to learn the best skills for online research for spatial analysis? Learn how to evaluate online spatial data sources. Learn how to best communicate spatial data analysis online.
Prepares students to identify and research central and emerging issues in Spatial Analysis for Public Health. Introduces and explores online sources for finding high-quality, full-text research articles. Prepares students to use advanced search techniques efficiently within these sources and to manage references using tools such as RefWorks, EndNote, Zotero, and Mendeley. Enables students to quickly and efficiently find reliable, high-quality evidence to support their spatial analysis research. Teaches tools available to use to stay current on topics related to the public health field with a focus on spatial analysis.

Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:

  2. Apply advanced search techniques to efficiently locate relevant articles from bibliographic databases
