Digital accessibility impacts all of us every day. Foremost, it is a quality that measures the absence of potential barriers to individuals living with impairments. This includes, but is not limited to, people requiring assistive technologies.
This workshop will identify several ways digital accessibility directly impacts pathways to learning. One takeaway will be a set of questions to guide you in embracing accessibility. Additionally, you will leave with some feasible, initial steps to increase access to your communication, assignments, and other activities. There will also be a hands-on activity remediating a sample PowerPoint presentation. In doing so, techniques for other applications will be addressed. Discussion will be open to meet your interests.
