General interests lie within the field of Health Services Research and Evaluation and Health Care Policy Analysis and in Information Technology as applied to Public Health/ Population Health. Specific areas of interest include: 1)Electronic health records / health information technology/informatics as applied to public health / population health; 2)Quality of care; 3)Case-mix, risk-adjustment, predictive modeling; 4)Primary / ambulatory care; 5)Population health / care management; 6)Managed care plans / health insurance / health benefits; 7)Health professions / workforce planning;and 8)International comparisons of health care organization & financing.
