Experiences & Accomplishments
My principal interests as a researcher involve functional genomics and transcriptomics of parasites. Using bioinformatics tools, I focus on understanding how these complex organisms can evolve to survive adverse environments, infect their hosts, and cause diseases with important human health consequences.
Honors & Awards
2015-2019 Fellowship to study abroad by the "Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (Conacyt)", Mexico.
2019 Ph.D with Honors, Cum laude. "Universidad Autónoma de Madrid", Madrid, Spain.
