Experiences & Accomplishments
I coordinate JH-IIRU's training and capacity development programs, aimed at building sustainable capacity in low- and middle-income countries to address the global burden of injuries and disability. In this role, I support content development, and plan the delivery of leadership courses and training programs, including the Global Road Safety Leadership Courses (GRSLC) and the Global Rehabilitation Leadership Institute (GRLI).
My research work focuses on assessing compliance with road safety policies in LMICs, as part of the Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety (BIGRS) project.
I hold a particular interest in understanding public health policy implementation, compliance and enforcement, and how to utilize capacity development to support the development and implementation of interventions which strengthen health systems in LMICs.
