Overview
I received a BA in Public Health and Molecular Cell Biology and an MPH in Epidemiology/Biostatistics from UC Berkeley. I received my predoctoral training in the Department of Mental Health from JHSPH ('19), after which I completed two years of postdoctoral training at Kennedy Krieger Institute and JHSPH. I am currently faculty at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders at Kennedy Krieger Institute with a joint academic appointment as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mental Health at JHSPH.

My research focuses on 1) elucidating the complex interplay between physical and mental health among individuals with neuropsychiatric disorders, with the ultimate goal of improving health in this population, and 2) the roles of gut-related (e.g., microbiome, antibiotics) and immune-related (e.g., infections, autoimmunity) variables in the etiology of neuropsychiatric disorders.
