Paulani Mui, MPH ’15, helps to advance public health practice throughout the School and the community, and also researches health disparities among Asian Americans.
Experiences & Accomplishments
Paulani Mui is an Assistant Practice Professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the Department of Health Policy and Management. She is a practice-oriented educator and researcher focusing on public health systems and infrastructure, workforce capacity, and Asian American health and workforce disparities. As Associate Director of the Office of Public Health Practice and Training, she works collaboratively with public health practitioners, academicians, legislators, community-based organizations, and local, state, and federal agencies to promote and advance excellence in public health practice and build capacity through academic collaborations and partnership. Paulani is also the lead faculty member overseeing practicums for the MPH program at the School of Public Health.
