Overview
My research focuses on three areas: tuberculosis research and capacity buildling in India, determining the etiology of childhood pneumonia in developing countries, and transforming policy for HIV-related tuberculosis using evidence from population-level studies.  Past work involved advocacy activities for reducing the incidence of tuberculosis in areas of high HIV prevalence.  Future interests include the above topic areas as well as evaluating partnership with communities as part of the research process.
