Departmental Affiliations
Research Interests
genetic epidemiology, chronic kidney disease, genome-wide association studies, gout, cardiovascular epidemiology
Experiences & Accomplishments
I am working on genetic and non-genetic risk factors for kidney disease and related conditions, as well as on kidney disease as a risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Genetic projects include both candidate gene and genome-wide association approaches. I am currently participating in several large consortia of cohort studies with genome-wide association data.
