Overview
Conan Dickson is an Associate Scientist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the Department of Health Policy and Management. He serves as the Associate Director of the Master in Health Administration Program. Dr. Dickson's academic interests are health care management, strategy, finance and quantitative tools.

Prior to joining the faculty full-time in March 2020, Dr. Dickson spent twenty-five years working at Johns Hopkins Medicine in a variety of roles including Sr. Director of Business Development & Strategy; Chief of Staff at Sibley Memorial Hospital; Administrator for Operations Support for Johns Hopkins Health System; Administrator for Medical Affair at The Johns Hopkins Hospital; and Assistant Administrator of the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center. He also served as the program director of the JHM Administrative Fellowship for fifteen years and served on the Steering Committee of the National Council of Administrative Fellowships. Outside of Hopkins, he had several leadership roles in community service.

Dr. Dickson has a doctorate in Health Services Research from Johns Hopkins University, a master in public health from Yale University, and bachelor degrees in Health System Management and Accounting from Auburn University. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
