The Foundation for mRNA Medicines(link is external) and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Center invite you to a screening of THE MESSENGER: A Story of mRNA(link is external), a documentary film that aims to connect scientists, policymakers, and the public to explore how mRNA technology is revolutionizing medicine.

The film tells the story of mRNA technology through interviews with Katalin Karikó and Drew Weissman, winners of the Nobel Prize in medicine in 2023, and other leading scientists who contributed to the developments in this field. The film seeks to build public trust in science and inspire the next generation of innovators by delving into an incredible page in the history of science and how this groundbreaking work is bringing a new era of revolutionary cures.

Following the screening of the one-hour long documentary, listen to an engaging fireside chat where scientists, members of the media, and government agencies will hold a thought-provoking discussion about how the core themes in the film connect to the challenges we face today.
