ONLINE LiveTalk (Zoom) Training

This CTL training is recommended for BSPH faculty and teaching assistants who are new to online teaching or would like a refresher on managing a synchronous Zoom meeting. It is appropriate for those teaching traditional online courses and those relying on a Zoom meeting in any course format. 

The session will include an overview of managing the Zoom class session as a host or co-host for a course. Special attention will be given to the pre- and post-meeting facets of faculty self-run (i.e., self-managed) LiveTalks! Many of Zoom's features, including polls and whiteboards, plus security recommendations will be discussed.

Registration is required. The URL to join the session will be sent in a reminder email. If it is less than 4 days from your preferred session date, you will need to contact CTL Help directly to see if slots are still available for that time.
