Are you defending your dissertation in 2024 or in early 2025 and preparing for the academic job market?
Join Dr. Saad B. Omer, Founding Dean of the O’Donnell School of Public Health, for lunch on Monday, January 22 from 12-1:15 pm to learn about the Early Impact Scholars Program at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
The Early Impact Scholars program offers new graduates an opportunity to enter a one-year Distinguished Fellow position, conditional on successfully defending their dissertation, followed by a Tenure Track Assistant Professor appointment in the second year. Current post-doctoral fellows may be eligible for a direct Tenure Track Assistant Professor appointment.
We invite candidates in all fields with training in public health, population sciences, behavioral health, epidemiology, implementation sciences, health economics, health policy, biostatistics and data sciences.
This will be a hybrid session. To join for lunch onsite in the 615 N. Wolfe Street building, you must RSVP in order to be included in the lunch order and to obtain the room number for the session.
