The Hopkins Business of Health Initiative welcomes U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra for a fireside chat about health and climate – the threat to human health, the challenge of environmental justice, and the administration’s unprecedented efforts to help hospitals and health systems reduce their own considerable carbon footprint. With the health sector currently responsible for 8.5 percent of the country’s greenhouse emissions, it’s a big task.

After the conversation, we will host a panel discussion with health care leaders about how the industry and providers are trying to bring about change.
