Implementing and maintaining grading consistency can be challenging for faculty and teaching assistants. In this interactive Teaching Toolkit Workshop by the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), we will first explore the benefits and process of grade norming and how it supports fair grading practices. Next, we will hear the grade norming experiences of two BSPH teaching teams, who will share how they incorporated grade norming into their courses. Finally, we will have a chance to practice the grade norming process on a mock assignment. You will leave the workshop ready to apply grade norming in your course. Teaching teams are encouraged to attend this workshop together.

Zoom registration is required. Find out more about CTL Events.
