 Dr. Funmilola (Funmi) OlaOlorun is a Community Health Physician with a PhD in Public Health from the Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health at Johns Hopkins University (2013). She teaches and supervises research projects of medical and postgraduate public health students in her current role as Senior Lecturer in the Reproductive and Family Health Unit of the Department of Community Medicine at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. Her research is focused on women's health across the life course. More specifically, she has conducted research in Nigeria in areas such as professional support for breastfeeding, family planning, fertility desires, household decision-making, abortion measurement, intimate partner violence, and menopause. Funmi is a co-Principal Investigator for the Performance Monitoring for Action program in Nigeria and has served as principal investigator, co-principal investigator and investigator in many internationally funded studies.
