Emmanuella Lebasaana Salia, MD, MPH is a current postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. At UT, she is currently working on the Severe Preeclampsia Outcome Triage (SPOT) Study, a study that aim to improve the quality of care for women with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. Her current work is primarily based in Ghana. Read more about the study here.
Dr. Salia has research experience in HIV/AIDS, health systems strengthening, and inpatient and outpatient management of acute and chronic medical and surgical illnesses. She received her MPH from the Bloomberg School in 2019 and a MBChB, Medicine from the Kwame Nkrumah' University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.
