The Peetz Family Professorship was established due to the urgent public health problem of Lyme and tickborne diseases in need of swift and comprehensive solutions. The mission is to be the leader in research and education, developing new therapies, training new researchers, and engage policy makers with data-driven recommendations in advancement of public health.
