About the Event
Teaching philosophy statements can help to conceptualize individual instructors’ approaches and values related to teaching and learning. They are also important parts of academic hiring and tenure processes. But what do these statements look like? How do you get started thinking about a teaching philosophy? This practical workshop will assist students and faculty with developing their own teaching philosophy statements.
In this BSPH Teaching Council presentation, workshop panelists will share tip and tricks from their own experience and participants will have the opportunity to work on their own statements and receive feedback.
