Sample Size Justification: Essentials for Grant Submissions
REGISTER
Any new grant submission requires a power and sample size calculation. We like to think about this as a sample size justification that considers the study design and the research goals. The objective of this session is to help the attendees understand the parameters in a sample size calculation and how to gather the information for their studies. To further explore the abstract concept, we will review specific examples of reasoning for deciding on sample size.
Speaker: Jiangxia Wang, MA, MS, Associate Scientist, Bloomberg School of Public Health
