Mindfulness is the ability to stay in the present moment without judgement; a skill that can be cultivated and can result in improvements in anxiety and stress. This workshop is intended to help increase your understanding and knowledge about anxiety & mindfulness.
Please join Dr. Neda Gould in this interactive discussion on how to recognize and manage your current stressors using mindfulness practices. The session will include a brief presentation, small group discussions/reflections and guided practices. Dr. Gould is a clinical psychologist and assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She also serves as director of the Mindfulness Program at Johns Hopkins and associate director of the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Anxiety Disorders Clinic.
