Johns Hopkins University is hosting a live virtual briefing on the conflict in Ukraine and its global consequences. The briefing will take place on Wednesday March 30, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. ET. It will feature a panel of faculty experts from across the university. This briefing will include discussion of the following topics: the historical backstory to the conflict and the significance of this moment in history; the human costs of the war and the evolving humanitarian crisis; the threat of Russian WMD use in Ukraine; cyber threats to Ukraine and other democracies; and the war’s implications for economic globalization. Registrants can submit questions in advance or during the briefing.
