PHASE (Public Health Applications for Student Experience) is a non-paid, for-credit internship program, sponsored in partnership with the Maryland Department of Health (MDH) and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. PHASE offers opportunities for BSPH public health graduate students to intern with state and local public health and governmental agencies and associations and apply academic knowledge and theory in real-world professional practice settings. The primary goal of PHASE is to enrich Bloomberg School academic degree programs with hands-on public health practice experience. Internships are developed by the partnering organization, providing students the opportunity to participate in a needed project with a relatively immediate application and impact.
Join us, Thursday, Sept 29, at 12:00pm EST to explore the inner workings of the PHASE internship program, including potential projects, expectations of interns, and how to apply.
