The Stoop and BSPH, in partnership with Enoch Pratt Free Library, are seeking seven storytellers to share a story for “Hidden in Plain Sight: Stories about the powerful—and often invisible—public health forces that shape our lives.” The free event on Thursday, September 22 at 7 p.m., features scientists, activists, community members, and Y-O-U! Attendees will share 7-minute true, personal tales about urgent public health issues affecting physical, mental, and emotional health—from climate change to gun violence to opioids to family planning and food and nutrition.
All selected storytellers will receive coaching and support for developing their 7-minute story.
Hosted at the Enoch Pratt Central Library, Wheeler Auditorium (3rd Floor).
