The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing will be hosting the next event in the University’s Health Policy Forum series at 11–11:45 a.m., EST, Friday, January 7. The event will feature Chiquita Brooks-LaSure, administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, or CMS, for a virtual fireside chat. School of Nursing Dean Sarah Szanton will host the conversation, which will cover a range of topics, including Brooks-LaSure’s career in health policy, CMS’s work to catalyze innovation in the delivery of care, how nursing in the community improves population health, and the challenge of nursing workforce shortages.
