Biochemistry II: Major Metabolic Pathways
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
2023 - 2024
M, W, F, 1:30 - 2:50pm
Examines the major metabolic pathways that are central to eukaryotic cell growth and maintenance.
Learning ObjectivesUpon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
- Describe the biochemical reactions and pathways that lead to the generation of metabolic energy in mammalian cells
- Describe how biomedical signals between cells and tissues are converted into targeted metabolic changes. More broadly, this course will provide the students with a biochemical perspective that they can apply to their own specific areas of public health research
Methods of Assessment
This course is evaluated as follows:
- 100% Exam(s)
Priority registration will be given to students in the Bloomberg School of Public Health. All others need permission from contact to register.
